Cari 10 sentences dalam teks dibawah ini The latest report from Mothers and Babies: Reducing Risk through Audits and Confidential Enquiries across the UK (2022) has been released, giving a striking insight into midwifery and maternity care in 2018—2020. The report's data show that compared to White women, Black women are almost four times as likely to die during pregnancy and Asian women are almost twice as likely to die. As well as ethnic inequalities, it is clear that other factors play a disproportionate role in maternity care. Those from deprived areas are more than twice as likely to die during pregnancy as those from wealthy areas, and experiencing mental health issues or domestic abuse also places women at a severe disadvantage. The year 2022 has held further insights into maternity care, with the final Ockenden (2022) report being published, and the Kirkup (2022) review of services in East Kent. Although I am shocked by the profound impact of inequalities in care in our maternity services, I am determined to end the year on as positive a note as possible. As I look back over this year's issues and published articles, I am proud that these concerns over inequality are not going unaddressed, at least for the authors of our articles. This year, the British Journal of Midwifery has published many studies highlighting inequalities in care and suggesting how they could be addressed. From a literature review examining factors that contribute to maternal health inequalities (Crowe, 2022) to an examination of gender inclusive language on maternity service websites (Jennings et al, 2022), inequalities and the minorities being affected are clearly a priority. Our articles have also explored how training can impact implicit bias in maternity care (Chubb et al, 2022) and how ethnicity can affect labour induction (Winter, 2022). Looking forward to 2023, it is my hope that we can continue to address these issues, and that the BJM can do its part to raise awareness, explore causes and establish solutions to disparities in maternity care. I know that this would not be possible without our wonderful community of authors, reviewers and readers. I would, as ever, encourage as many of you as possible to send in your research, especially that pertaining to inequalities in maternity care, so that we can contribute to improving services in 2023.

PROTESTS AGAINST NEW LABOR LAW TURN VIOLENT ACROSS INDONESIA
1Protests in many Indonesian cities have turned violent as thousands of enraged students and workers criticize a new law that they say will cripple labor rights and harm the environment.
2JAKARTA, Indonesia -- Protests in many Indonesian cities turned violent Thursday as thousands of enraged students and workers criticized a new law that they say will cripple labor rights and harm the environment. Clashes between rock-throwing demonstrators and riot police broke out near Jakarta's presidential palace as police tried to disperse the protesters, including workers and high school and university students.
3President Joko Widodo is visiting Central Kalimantan province and was not in the palace. Police fired tear gas at the protesters from several high schools and universities as they tried to approach the palace compound, turning roads into a smoke-filled battleground. The protesters hurled rocks and bottles. As night fell, some protesters set fire to a subway shelter in downtown Jakarta, causing the area to turn an eerie orange color. Demonstrators also burned road barriers, several cars, a cinema and damaged several government offices.
4Indonesia’s top security minister, Mohammad Mahfud, told a televised news conference late Thursday that the government would not tolerate any action of damaging public facilities and physical attacks on police and community members. Flanked by the military chief and other top leaders, Mahfud said that those acts are insensitive to the conditions suffered by people who are struggling against COVID-19 and financial difficulties. “For this reason, for the sake of order and security, the government will take a firm stand against anarchist actions aimed at creating chaos and fear in society,” he said. “The government to carry out legal proceedings against all perpetrators and actors who ride on these anarchist and criminal actions.”
5Similar clashes occurred in large cities all over the country, including Yogyakarta, Medan, Makassar, Manado and Bandung. Organizers have called for a three-day national strike starting Tuesday demanding that the government revoke the legislation.
Jawaban:
Protests in many Indonesian cities have turned violent.
Clashes between rock-throwing demonstrators and riot police broke out near Jakarta's presidential palace.
Indonesia's top security minister, Mohammad Mahfud, said the government would take a firm stand against anarchist actions and carry out legal proceedings against perpetrators of criminal actions.
Points I agree with:
Protests in Indonesia have turned violent.
The government will take legal action against perpetrators of criminal actions.
Points I disagree with:
It is not stated in the text whether or not the new labor law will actually cripple labor rights and harm the environment. This is speculation on the part of the protesters.
It is not clear if the protesters' actions, including throwing rocks and setting fire to public facilities, are justified or not
